Miguel Dominguez graduated from the High School of Art and Design, and the Fashion Institute of Technology, majoring in photography at both institutions here in New York City.
Upon graduation from F.I.T., he began to work as assistant to many well recognized commercial photographers. At the same time he was building a body of work in photo stock illustration.
In 1992, with the advent of desktop publishing, Miguel changed careers and became a graphic designer. Today, he also reports and publishes photo articles in this, his blog, about the cultural life of New York.
